Dr. Lamabam Kamal writes in his poem Meitei Chanu:
পামদে চেক্কি মন্দির,
ৱাংনা শারগা অমুক্তং
মন্দুনা লৈবা মতম কুইনা;
শারুসি লৈগী মন্দির,
তাউখৎনবা মতমগী ঈথক মথক্তা৷
The use of অমুক্তং here is interesting. It does not mean 'once' or 'one time', I think. I think Kamal uses this word for emphasis in this context. I will write about how this emphasis works, but before that, I would like to hear what my MD Project follows here have to say.
